Weekly update from Rimbey RCMP

Stats from March 9- 16

The officers of the Rimbey RCMP detachment responded to 45 calls for service in the past week.

The highest number of their calls were traffic violations, which they responded to 13, along with three traffic collisions.

In criminal code matters, officers responded to one assault, one call of mischief, four break and enter calls, four reports of theft, two reports of possession of property obtained by crime, one suspicious person/vehicle and one report of fraud or extortion.

In other matters that are a regular part of police work, but don’t fall into criminal code or traffic categories, officers responded to one item of lost and found, four mental health calls and one well being check.
