The Rimbey RCMP detachment has experienced a slight uptick in calls to end January.
Members of the detachment responded to 46 calls between Jan. 26 and Feb 2.
On the highways and roads in and around the municipality, officers issued six tickets, responded to four vehicle collisions, three vehicle versus animal collisions, two suspicious vehicles and encountered one driver under the mandatory roadside alcohol screening program.
Dealing with criminal matters, officers responded to seven break and enter complaints, four complaints of theft, two complaints of fraud or extortion, one complaint of uttering threats, and one complaint under the trespass act.
For routine policing matters not otherwise falling under highways or criminal code, officers provided general assistance to the public three times, responded to one animal call and dealt with two lost-and-found items.
