MURRAY, Adrian
Adrian Murray was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, the youngest of four children born to Andrew and Barbara Salmond, on February 10, 1931, and she passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on January 30, 2011. She was united in marriage to James Murray in 1953 and together they raised three children. In 1968, the Murray's immigrated to Canada, settling in Rimbey in 1969. Adrian worked as a home care aide for the Wetoka Health Unit for many years. She loved to dance and to travel and spent many evenings playing cards and socializing with friends but the most important thing in her life was her family. She was predeceased by her parents, her two brothers and one sister, and by her beloved husband, Jim. She will be sadly missed by her children; Brenda (Dan) Krossa of Bentley, AB, David (Jodi) Murray of Red Deer, AB, Fiona (Troy) Brehaut of Edmonton, AB and her grandchildren; Jason and Michelle Krossa of Red Deer, AB, one sister-in-law, Betty Brierley of Nanaimo, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial tea to celebrate the life of Adrian Murray was held at the Beatty House, Saturday, February 5, 2011.
