Albert J. Dreichel of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Area Three on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the age of 96 years.
Albert will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by five children: his son, Donald (Marie) Dreichel of Bruderheim, Alberta; and his four daughters: Darlene Hendrickson of Wetaskiwin; Doreen (Larry) Butler of Rocky Mountain House; Colleen (Vern) Kuhn of Leduc County; and Jo Ann Kalmbach also of Wetaskiwin; as well as eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his brother, Art (Frances) Dreichel of Falun, Alberta; in addition to many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Albert was predeceased by his parents, Sophia and Gotlieb; his beloved wife, Willa in 2015; his son, Ted; and his granddaughter, Tara Scott (Kuhn).
With respect for Albert's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. Interment will be held at a later date in the Dalby Cemetery, Falun, Alberta.
