METRO, Alfred John
Mr. Alfred John Metro of Bentley, Alberta passed away peacefully at home, as were his wishes on Wednesday March 7, 2018 one day short of his 74th birthday.
Alfred was born to Steve and Frances Metro at Ponoka, Alberta on March 8, 1944.
Alfred leaves to mourn his loving wife of 52 years Darlene, one son; Ryan (Angela), one daughter; Tammy (Dave), one granddaughter; Larissa (Wayne), one grandson; Chase and one great grandson Jaxon and numerous nieces and nephews. Alfred is also survived by two sisters; Frances (Bruce), Rose (Ray).
Alfred was predeceased by one grandson Wade in 2007, as well as by two brother's Joe and Frank (Jeanette) and by one sister Marion (Clarence).
A Celebration of Alfred's life was held on Friday March 16, 2018 from the Bentley Community Church in Bentley, Alberta with Pastor Greg Rathjen officiating.
