Alvin Womacks was born in Gwynne, AB, the youngest of 8 children to Ned and Ruby Womacks.
Al is survived by his wife Peggy of 74 years, daughter Dianne Lemieux; sons Brian (Diane) and Dennis (Monica); nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his son Garry, grandson Cory and great grandson Kaden.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lacombe Palliative Care Society, Box 5576, Lacombe, AB T4L 1X2. Condolences may be made by visiting www.wilsonsfuneralchapel.ca
