In loving memory ~
The family of Bradley Edmonton of Battle Lake are saddened to report his death at age 72.
After a successful 17-year battle against three cancers, a fourth aggressive one in 2 months finally ended him. With family and dogs at his bedside, he peacefully passed at home.
He was predeceased by his brother Alan Edmonton in 2013; cousin Lynelle Bozak in 2014; and father Dan Edmonton in 2019. His mother Rolande, wife Donna, and son Edgar carry on with in-law Dwight Bozak ever helping all. He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brad was a "back to the lander". After leaving U of A in 1969, he travelled the world. And after 10 years of driving an ETS bus; he really appreciated the quiet of country life. Brad was a lover of Alberta lore and history. The family and fore-bearers have been in Alberta since 1820. Great-grandfather Kenny McDonald built the first house outside of Fort Edmonton in 1862 at 91 street and Jasper Ave.
For 37 years Brad lived in awe of the forest at his Battle Lake acreage.
Good-bye to all my friends.
Thank you to many professionals and citizens I met at Alberta Health Services.
