June 29, 1935 - March 3, 2015

It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Mr. Bruce P. Wilson.

Bruce dedicated his entire working career to funeral service in Calgary, Red Deer, Sylvan Lake and Rocky Mountain House. For the past 38 years, he was honoured to serve the communities of Rimbey, Bentley and Lacombe.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife and best friend Mary Lou; two daughters Kathleen (Gerald) Bolze, Sandra (Jackie)Wilson, granddaughter Shauna (Kevin) Kranenborg, grandson Stacey Bolze, great-grandchildren; Kyler & Selena Kranenborg and Bryn Maetche, second family Steve (Terry) Maetche, Kyle (Jodi), Scott, Curtis; Ken (Dawn) Maetche, Tanner and Josh; Rory (Cheryl) Maetche, Jeremy and Kevin; one sister, Joyce (Walter),Ingrid Vollmerhaus, one brother Robert (Linda), Scott and Erin. He was predeceased by his parents James and Evelyn Wilson, and extended family Everett and Ellen Mayhood, and Alys Wilson.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Sunday, March 8, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at the College Heights SDA Church, 6915 Maple Drive, (College Heights), Lacombe, AB on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm.

If desired, donations in Bruce's name may be made to the following charities: Alzheimer's Society of Red Deer #1 5550 - 45 Street Red Deer Alberta T4N 1L1, St. Andrew's Memorial Fund 5226 - 51 Avenue Lacombe, Alberta or the charity of one's choice.
