CASEY
January 31, 1970 ~ September 16, 2012
Catherine Audrey Casey (nee Toth) of Rimbey, Alberta, better known as "Cathy" or "Cat", passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the age of 42 years. Cathy moved to Rimbey in 2010, where she met the man of her dreams and was later married on September 24, 2011 in Port Howe, Nova Scotia to Adam Casey. Cathy was a loving and caring person. She loved life, and loved her children and family very much. Cathy also took great pleasure in the outdoors; and enjoyed camping, quadding, skidooing, gardening, and working out in the shop with her husband, Adam. Most of all, she loved spending quality time with Adam and Bryden, and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with her mother, Joyce and her father, Stefan when they came to Rimbey to visit. Cathy was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and sister. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Adam; her stepson, Bryden; her father-in-law, Elmer Casey; her parents, Joyce VanHorn and Stefan Toth; her four beautiful children, Steven, Jessie, Ashley, and Kristen; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Inez, Avis, Rosa, and Cleo; in addition to many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Cathy was predeceased by her sister, Ona.
With respect for Cathy's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Cathy's Memory may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
