MIDTDAL
Catherine "Cathy" S.E. Midtdal of Rimbey, Alberta, formerly of Battle Lake, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Area Two on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the age of 86 years.
Cathy will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her two sons, Allan (Wendy) Midtdal of Creston, B.C.; and Randy (Cecilia) Midtdal of New Brunswick; and her two daughters, Carol (Alex) Stewart of Kelowna, B.C.; and Debbie (Steve) Mann of Calgary; as well as twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by two brothers, Howard (Emily) Huff of Vancouver, B.C.; and Clarence Huff of Millet, Alberta; and one sister, Willa (Albert) Dreichel of Rimbey; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Cathy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy in 1995.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Cathy's Life was held at the Lakedell Agricultural Complex, near Pigeon Lake on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Michael Moulson officiating. Interment preceded the Funeral Service in the Dalby Cemetery, near Falun, Alberta at 12:30 p.m. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Cathy's Memory may be made directly to the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Long Term Care, c/o David Thompson Health Trust, Box 440, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0.
