Dale passed away suddenly at his home in Winfield, Alberta on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the age of 51.
Dale was born in Rimbey, Alberta and was the youngest son of Roy and Audrey Carruthers.
Dale left to mourn his brothers and sisters: Earl (and Val) Carruthers of Golden Lake, Ontario, Walter (and Shirley) Carruthers of Innisfail, Alberta, Ruth (& Dan) Donald of Rimbey, Alberta, Darlene (and Ray) Harden of Rimbey, Alberta, Shirley (and Larry) Douglas of Red Deer, Alberta, Danny (and Ingrid) Carruthers of Winfield, Alberta, Sherry Blair (and Joe Whalley) of Exshaw, Alberta and sister-in-law Carol Carruthers of Rimbey, Alberta along with their families.
Dale was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Audrey Carruthers, his brother, Glenn Carruthers, his sister-in-law, Rene Carruthers, and his nephew, Bryson Douglas.
An informal public memorial in celebration of Dale's life will be held at the Winfield Recreation Centre on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
Cremation took place in Edmonton, Alberta. Interment will take place at Mount Clare Cemetery.
