January 30, 1949 - December 31, 2022
David was born on January 30, 1949, in Windsor, Nova Scotia and passed into the presence of the Lord on December 31, 2022, at home in Rimbey, Alberta
Dave and Kathy moved to Rimbey in 2003, from Markdale, Ont. They came to pastor the Church of Nazarene. He had pastored churches in Port Alberni, BC, Kolapore, Ont., Moncton, NB, and Markdale, Ont., a career of 35 wonderful years.
Dave was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and took on an early retirement.
Dave was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Ken and Myrtle MacMillan, and by his sister Roberta Handler, and brother Rev. Allan MacMillan.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Kathy of 51 years; daughter Mary Corinne Harty (Landus), grandsons: Gavin, Donavin and Brodin; and dear son Christopher David. Also, one sister Barbara, two brothers Rev. Claire MacMillan (Donna) and Bob MacMillan (Diane) and families.
