JAFFRAY
Diane Agnes Victoria Jaffray, passed away suddenly at the age of 53 years old in Olds, Alberta on January 21st, 2012. Diane was born in Rimbey where she grew up on the family farm with her parents Frank and Anne Tkacik. Rimbey is where she met her husband, the love of her life, Wayne Jaffray. Diane moved around from Rimbey, Brooks, Westlock and then finally to Olds, where she and Wayne have resided for 19 years. While raising her children, Diane always kept busy with numerous jobs, including the Autotrader, selling jewelry and owning her own DJ service. She loved camping, going to Vegas and cheering on her children and grandkids in all of their sports. In 1996, Diane fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning her own business, Dee J's Music World and Book Store. In the 15 years she owned Dee J's, she made numerous relationships throughout the community. Along with her love for the store and owning a family business, Diane always made family a priority, especially the athletic ventures of her children, Jason and Ashley. Diane is survived by her husband of 34 years, Wayne; son, Jason (Michelle) Jaffray; daughter, Ashley (Ryan) Bresden. She is also survived by the three joys of her life, her grandchildren, Kennedy and Jaxon, children of Jason and Michelle, and the third grandchild arriving at the end of June to parents, Ashley and Ryan; sister, Katrina (Leo) Hohn; nephew, Jay (Darla) Hohn and niece, Leanne (Mike) Edwards; brother, Tony Tkacik and nieces, Kari (Randy) Ukranichuk, Angie and nephew, Andrew. Diane is predeceased by her son, Steven Jaffray; parents, Frank and Anne Tkacik; Wayne's parents, Harry and Frances Jaffray. Memorial services were held on Saturday January 28, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Olds with Harold Hunter officiating. All donations will be given to special friends, the Crowell family, who have a four year old little boy battling cancer. (in care of Heartland Funeral Services in Olds)
