Don McFadyen
May 18, 1933- February 11, 2014
Don is remembered by his second wife Lennie McKenzie.
Don and I were married September 2005 and divorced November 2011.
During our marriage we taught dancing at the Accordion Fest in Kimberly B.C. also in Ponoka, Alberta in the Elks Hall.
We also danced together to entertain the residence at extended care facilities, in Rimbey, Red Deer, Ponoka, Lacombe, Bentley, Eckville, even in Nanaimo B.C. where my mother was a resident in a nursing home.
Don and I traveled to Mexico and to several countries in Europe.
A memorial was held for Don on February 17 in the Rimbey Community Center.
Don - MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.
A heart felt thank-you to my friends and acquaintances from Rimbey who called me at my home after the memorial.
I was overwhelmed by your support and encouragement.
