CHRISTENSON
Mrs. Dorothy M. Christenson of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the age of 91 years.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her son, John (Florence) Christenson of Rimbey; her two daughters, Diane (Ken) Foster of Summerland, B.C.; and Lynne (Hank) Klaver of Greenwood, B.C.; as well as six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law, Louis Benson of Kaleden, B.C.; and her sister-in-law, Marg Christenson of Unity, Saskatchewan; in addition to many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, John in 1987; one brother, Ed Hyndman; and one sister, Lila Ducanson.
With respect for Dorothy’s wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium Ltd., Red Deer. Interment will take place at a later date in the Wilkie Cemetery, Wilkie, Saskatchewan. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Dorothy’s Memory may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
