On June 18, 2010, Doug Damsgaard of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the age of 61 in the Didsbury Hospital. Doug will always be loved and never forgotten by his daughters, Norma and Terry. Grandchildren Thomas and Kayla; Brother Ron (Debbie); Sisters Betty (John), Laura, Colleen (Kim), Kathy (Willie) along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Doug was predeceased by his parents Aksel and Gert, niece Nicole, and son-in-law Dave. Doug was a hard working man and took pride in all he done. From working on the farm to construction, joining the carnival then finding his calling in the oilfield industry. Doug made many friends in his short life and touched many hearts. He will be forever missed. A Memorial Service to celebrate Doug's life was held on June 24, 2010 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Rimbey, Alberta.
