BROCKHOFF
Mrs. Edith M. Brockhoff of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Edith will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her three sons, Alvin (Marilyn) Brockhoff of Bonnyville; Evert (Jody) Brockhoff of Leduc; and David (Kathy) Brockhoff of Bluffton; as well as ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother, Evert (Enid) Karlstrom of Bluffton; her sister, Eda Satre of Winfield; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her husband, John in 2001; and her sister, Elsie. A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Edith’s Life was held at the Liberty Hall on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Don McFadyen officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. Interment will take place at a later date in the Hoadley Cemetery, Hoadley. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Edith’s Memory may be made directly to the Hoadley Cemetery Fund, c/o R.R. 2, Bluffton, Alberta T0C 0M0; or to the charity of one’s choice.
