HERINGER
Mrs. Elizabeth Rose Heringer (nee Reidlinger) of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the age of 93 years. She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on August 17, 1916 as the second eldest of nine children, all of whom have passed before her. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her four children, Shirley Major of Calgary; Dave (Jo) Shubert of Spruce Grove; Irene Anderson of Rimbey; and Bev(Peter) Shiel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; in addition to eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Elizabeth was predeceased by her son, Edward Shubert in 1962; her first husband, Jack Shubert in 1983; her second husband, Harold Heringer in 2003; one granddaughter, Patricia Bamford in 1970; one grandson, Gordon Bamford in 2003; and one great granddaughter, Amy Lemmen in 2003. A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Elizabeth's Life was held at the Rimbey Drop In Centre, Rimbey on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend David Holmes officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. Interment will follow at a later date in the Mount Auburn Cemetery, Rimbey.
