WILLIAMS
Elizabeth T. Williams (nee Tkacik) of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Red Deer on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the age of 84 years.
Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother, Valent (Orva) Tkacik of Rimbey; and her three sisters, Agnes (Ernie) Satnik of St. Paul, Minnesota; Sophie (Gordon) Jensen of Humboldt, South Dakota; and Mary (Gunnar) Naslund of Edmonton. She was also a special aunt to twenty-eight nieces and nephews, and their families. Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bud Williams; her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Tkacik; and two brothers and their wives, Frank and Ann Tkacik; and John and Marie Tkacik.
Relatives and Friends were invited to a Prayer Vigil which was held at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Rimbey on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Rimbey on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Victor Eze, Celebrant. Cremation followed at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Elizabeth's Memory may be made directly to the C.N.I.B., 12010 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5K 0P3; to the Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton ~ Priests' Retirement Fund, 8421 - 101 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T6A 0L1; or to the charity of one's choice. The Family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Lim and the ICU nurses at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for the great care and compassion they gave Elizabeth. This appreciation is also extended to Dr. K. Adzich, Dr. M. Wickland-Weller, and the wonderful staff at the Rimbey Hospital for their continued care and many kindnesses.
