BRITTAIN
Mrs. Evelyn Grace Brittain of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Acute Care, Rimbey on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the age of 80 years.
Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Donald (Wilene) Brittain of Vermilion; and Terry (Rita) Brittain of Edmonton; and two daughters, Vivian (Neil) Plante of Rimbey; and Mildred (Randy) Plante, also of Rimbey; as well as eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother, Donald (Hazel) Rudolph of Grand Marais, Manitoba. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hartley in 1996; and her three sons, Douglas, Myron and Curtis.
A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Evelyn's Life was held at the Rimbey United Church, Rimbey on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Deborah Laing officiating. A Family Graveside Service took place in the West Haven Cemetery, Rimbey at 10:00 a.m. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Evelyn's Memory may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1X2.
