Evelyn Marie Noble of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully in her sleep in Unit 2 of the Long Term Care Facility, Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, January 4th, 2006 at the age of 74 years.
Evelyn was born on September 14, 1931 at Cutknife, Saskatchewan. In the spring of 1944, her parents moved the family from Saskatchewan to a farm two miles north of Forshee. On February 10th, 1952, Evelyn was united in marriage to Donald Noble of Rimbey. She worked many years at the old General Hospital and Stedman’s in Rimbey. When she wasn’t working off the farm, her days were spent milking cows, feeding chickens and pigs, growing a large garden and raising her family. Her passion was always her family, grandchildren, and animals. Her talented love of cake decorating was appreciated at weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. Her memory will live on in all who had the pleasure to have known her.
Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Don of Rimbey; three sons, Wayne Noble of Rimbey; Jim (Donna) Noble of Rimbey; Ken (Cheryl) Noble of Blackfalds; one daughter, Karen (Keith) Kreil of Winfield; and 11 grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by one brother, Allan (Doreen) Starozik of Calgary, and three sisters, Donna (Mick) Alfredson of Airdrie; Betty (Bob) McClelland of Lacombe; and Diane (Noel) Mallon of Edmonton. Evelyn was predeceased by a brother, Grant; her parents, Arthur and Hilda Starozik; and a daughter-in law, Laurel Noble.
At her request no service will take place. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Evelyn’s Memory may be made to the Long Term Care Facility of the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, PO Box 440 Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0.
