It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Dancing Queen.

Flora Jean Muldoon, 86, of Rimbey, AB, formally of Hinton died Sunday, Feb 24, 2019, in Edmonton, AB.

She was born on Aug 7, 1932 to Louis and Martha Opheim in Bonnyville, AB.

Flora attended nursing school and worked in Evansburg.

She married Ernest Frank Muldoon Sept, 29 1952 and they had 6 children, Mickey, Debbie, Lee-Anne, John, Maureen and Colleen.

Flora and Ernie owned and operated Hinton Heavy Haulers and Hinton Bus Services, retiring in 1980 they enjoyed many years travelling and making friends everywhere they went.

Flora is survived by her partner Murray Robertson and her children Mickey Muldoon (Norma), Deb Muldoon, Lee Anne Muldoon, John Muldoon, Maureen Vidrih (Addison) and Colleen Wright (Mark),10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and her sisters Lois Lidgett, Vanna Wilson, and Evelyn Scaber.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Martha Opheim, husband Ernie, and her brother Charles Opheim and sister Alice.

A Celebration of Life was held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Hinton Royal Canadian Legion, 250 Pembina Ave, Hinton, AB., with the Pastor Bill Bulger officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers were Flora's grandchildren Chad, Jody, Tara, Kirk-Lee, Brittany, Jennifer, Briant, Zachary, Janessa and Kayla.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a senior lodge in your local communities.
