MATSON
Mrs. Frances Mae Matson of Bluffton, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the age of 81 years.
Frances will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved husband, William Matson; her four sons, Arnold (Marlene) Matson; Jim (Desiree) Matson; Lyle (Tammy) Matson; and John (Debbie) Matson, all of Bluffton; and her three daughters, Anna (Gene) Whitehead of Kenaston, Saskatchewan; Brenda (Hank) Portiek of Bluffton; and Hazel (Cam) Coxson of Kelowna, B.C. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by seventeen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her parents; her infant daughter; three brothers; and three sisters.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Frances' Life was held at the Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church, Hoadley on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Barry Klassen officiating. A Private Family Interment Service took place in the Iola Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton at 11:00 a.m. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Frances’ Memory may be made directly to the Parsonage Renovations Fund, Box 1, Site 7, R.R. #2, Bluffton, Alberta T0C 0M0; or to the charity of one's choice.
