Juuti
Mrs. Gayle F. Juuti of Bentley,
Alberta passed away at the Foothills
Hospital, Calgary on Thursday, May
19, 2005 at the age of 57 years.
Gayle was born on February 11, 1948
in Bentley, Alberta, where she was
raised and lived her entire life. She
completed her schooling in Bentley,
and continued with additional courses in Red Deer upon
her graduation. On April 7, 1971, Gayle was united in
marriage to William Juuti, and together they raised one
daughter, Judy. For a number of years, Gayle worked at
the Bentley General Hospital, and later began working
with the David Thompson Health Region in Red Deer,
where she was employed until her passing. Gayle
possessed a great passion and love for horses, and was a
member of the Sunset Hills Riding Club for many years.
“She will be sadly missed and forever cherished in the
hearts of her family and friends.”
Gayle will be lovingly remembered by her husband,
William; her daughter, Judy Juuti of Rimbey; as well as
her father, Albert Stephenson and his close friend, Mavis
of Edmonton. She will also be lovingly remembered by
her brother, Lloyd (Sheila) Stephenson of Calgary; and
her sister, Linda (Ralph) Juuti of Pigeon Lake. Gayle
was predeceased by her mother, Frances.
The Juuti Family extended an invitation for everyone
to join them at a Graveside Service in Celebration of
Gayle’s Life, which was held at the Vig Cemetery,
Bentley, Alberta on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 1:00
p.m. with the Reverend Richard Juuti and the Reverend
Steve Wuori officiating. If friends desire, memorial
tributes in Gayle’s Memory may be made directly to
the Apostolic Lutheran Church, Box 807, Sylvan Lake,
Alberta; or to the Grace Lutheran Church, Box 298,
Bentley, Alberta T0C 0J0. Condolences to the family
