STEWART
George A. Stewart of Red Deer, Alberta, formerly of Rimbey, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the age of 84 years.
George will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter, Joy-Lynn Stewart of Red Deer; three brothers, Harvey (Norma) Stewart of Bluffton; Ken (Carol) Stewart of Red Deer; and Ray Stewart also of Red Deer; as well as four sisters, Mildred (Lawrence) Smeby of Creston, B.C.; Joyce (Don) Nackonechney of Calgary; Betty (Paul) Pecharsky of Edmonton; and Rose (Ken) Johnson of Innisfail; as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends. George was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Paul; and his beloved wife, Ann in 2000.
A Graveside Service in Celebration of George's Life was held at the Iola Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Deborah Laing officiating.
