Mrs. Gladys Cummings of Rimbey, Alberta passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the age of 90 years.
Gladys was born in Hastings, England and came to Canada as a war bride. She and her husband, Charles farmed and raised their family in the Forshee District.
Gladys will be lovingly remembered by her son, George (Lynda) Cummings of Edmonton; her daughter, Wendy Cummings of Halifax, Nova Scotia; and three treasured grandchildren, Janet, Michael and Scott Cummings. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles on May 17, 1993; and her son, Ryan on November 11, 1975.
Friends and Acquaintances were warmly welcomed to join the Family for A Time Of Sharing Of Memories at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Rimbey on Monday, December 29, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Gladys’ Memory may be made directly to the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Box 440, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0.
