Gregory Ross Stevenson "Papa", born on July 22nd, 1950 in Rimbey Alberta, passed away on October 11, 2022 in Surrey B.C.
Greg was a member of the RCMP from 1971 to 2009, particularly enjoying traffic enforcement.
Greg was predeceased by his father, Melvin,"Bub"; his mother, Bea, and his nephew, John Boorman.
He is survived by his loving family, wife Debra, his two daughters, Stacey (Chris), Carley (Shane) and his granddaughters Nevaeh and Brooklyn, who were dear to his heart.
Greg is also survived by his sister Annette Boorman (Michael); her children, (Ricki), Kate (Marcel), Jeff (Anelia), and Tim ( Alaina); and her grandchildren, Kaeden, Rilyn, Matias, and Dylan.
Greg enjoyed curling, softball and taking long walks with his beloved border collie, Mika. He had a wonderful sense of humour and loved a good practical joke.
Greg fondly remembered his years growing up in Rimbey as being full of fun, and spoke often of his friends there .
