November 18, 1940 – May 23, 2019
Helen Anne (Bota) Nornberg born November 18, 1940 in Calgary Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital on May 23, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mom always said the meaning of life is family, and watching her family grow, laugh and smile truly meant the world to her. Her “gramaisms” will always be remembered. Two halves are now whole again as she is back in the arms of her beloved husband.
Helen is survived and lovingly missed by her sisters, Irene (Don) Ostrander and Mary (Gale) Myers; her daughters, Elle (Perry) Jamart, Cheryl Jones, Betty (Dennis) Rudnik and Christine Simpson; her grandchildren, Kurtis, Emily, Garreth, Izzy, Mike, Cody, Morriah, Corey, Kaleb, Karter and one great grandson Kendrick. Helen was predeceased by her husband Morris (Hans); sister Shirley Lamont and parents Casper and Ethel Bota.
As per Helen’s wishes, there will be no service. If anyone wishes, memorial donations can be made to the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, 5228 50 Ave, Rimbey, AB T0C 2J0.
