Hendrik De Vries

Hendrik 'Henry' de Vries of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 84 years.
Henry will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family: his beloved wife of almost 55 years, Margaret; his son, Jim (Tracy); and his daughter, Tanja (Robert) Stoner; as well as four cherished grandchildren: Garett (Elizabeth), Joel (Lauren), Jacee (Colin), and Jenna (Nick); and four precious great grandchildren: Nixon, Ayla, Ella, and Emily. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Meintje Post of Holland; in addition to several nieces and nephews, other family members, and many close and treasured friends. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Harm and Tietje; his beloved grandson, Dylan in 2006; two brothers: Jan, and Hans; and three sisters: Jantje, Anna, and Tiete.
An Informal Gathering of Family and Friends in Celebration Of Henry's Life was held at the Rimbey Drop-In Centre, 5110 - 53 Avenue, Rimbey on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Henry's Memory may be made directly to the Rimbey Health Services Donations Program, c/o Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Box 440, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0 (www.rimbeyhealthdonations.com).
