Ida May Hunt


Mrs. Ida May Hunt of Rimbey, Alberta passed away quietly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Red Deer on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the age of 62 years.

Ida will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Daryl; one son, Allan Hunt (Christine McCool) of Rimbey; and one daughter, Mary (Murray) Reid of Prince George, B.C.; as well as three special grandchildren, Cameron, Morgan and Cassia. She will also be lovingly remembered by one brother, Lee (Janice) Jessen of Fort Macleod, Alberta; one sister, Mabel (Chris) Rodwell of Tees; and many nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by her parents, Viola and Larry Jessen; and one sister, Retta Towle.

Funeral Services in Celebration of Ida’s Life were held at the Hoadley Community Hall, Hoadley on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Bishop Phillip Stephan officiating. Interment followed in the Hoadley Cemetery, Hoadley. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Ida’s Memory may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, Red Deer Unit, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1X2; to the Rimbey Fish and Game Association, Box 634, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0; or to the charity of one’s choice.
