Ivan John

November 22, 1941 – April 19, 2011

Ivan Meikle passed away suddenly in Salmon Arm, B.C. on April 19, 2011 at 69 years of age. He leaves to mourn his wife Miriam, daughter Rhonda (Roman), son Dean (Laurelyn) and daughter Audra(Dave). He also leaves to mourn his mother, Eileen, brothers Colin (Shirley), Allen (Gail), Murray (Elva), and Grant (Janet), nine grand-sons, Matthew, Mark, Colin, Scott, Derrick, Curtis, Levi, Hayden and Jay, two grand-daughters, Elisa and Ami and six great grand-children. He will be missed by an extended family of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Bill, sister Arlene and son Loni. Ivan knew many people because of his work in the oilfield and his involvement with horses. He took great pride in his work and he loved his horses. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held for Ivan on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church with Rev. Barry Klassen officiating. Internment will be at a later date.
