Jacquie, 77, of Canmore passed away peacefully on February 2nd, 2016. She was born in Rimbey, Alberta, the daughter of "Shorty" (Wilbur) and Rhoda Hoag.

Jacquie married Dennis Lindberg and they raised their family in Prince George, BC and Edmonton. She graduated from the University of Alberta and served as a teacher in Prince George and Edmonton. For many years she was an active member of Southminster-Steinhauer United Church in Edmonton.

Jacquie moved to Canmore in 1998 and was deeply involved in the community. She was a member of the Ralph Connor Memorial United Church, the Canmore Seniors Association, and volunteered at the Canmore General Hospital Gift Shop.

Jacquie had an exuberant zest for life. Her love of serving others was clear to all who crossed her path. She could never turn down a good card game or a spin on the dance floor.

She is survived by sons Terry (Christine) and Grant; daughter Janis (Jeff); beloved Andy; grandchildren Riley, Evan, Christina and Dennis; brother Barry(Carla); adored companion Joe; and many relatives and friends. Jacquie is predeceased by cherished husband Dennis, as well as sisters Betty and Yvonne, and brothers Ken and Francis.

Funeral services will be held at 3PM on February 13 at St. Michael's Anglican Church, 709 7 Street in Canmore, AB.
