MOORE

James (Jim) Willis Moore passed away suddenly on August 17, 2014. He was born in Galahad, Alberta, on June 11, 1949, the eldest son of W. E. (Bud) and Helen Moore. Jim and Elaine were married in January, 1974, and moved to Rimbey in the spring of 1978. Jim taught a few generations of young people in his 30 years at Rimbey Elementary School. After he retired in 2008, he was always busy fixing and building things, gardening, designing websites, and helping with the care of his youngest son, Paul. Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elaine, his children Michael Moore (Jane Conly), Katherine Teske (Kiel Teske), and Paul Moore. Jim spent his life caring for people, plants, and places. He was a father who knew how to quietly bring out the best in his family and a grandfather who taught, nurtured and played all at the same time. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Isaiah Teske, and the two more on the way in the next month. At the family's request, there will be no public service at this time. If desired, donations can be made to PasKaPoo Historical Park, Rimbey, Alberta, or another worthy charity.
