James Thomas
1938-2015
Jim was born September 14, 1938 at Rimbey, Alberta, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the extended care in Drayton Valley, Alberta. Jim operated heavy equipment the majority of time during his working days, but he loved raising Appaloosa horses and showing them. Jim was predeceased by his parents, George and Ellen Needham, a daughter Shelley, two brothers Richard and Andrew Patrick (Pat), three half brothers William, George and Arley, and one half sister Myrtle. Jim is survived by five children, Colleen (Mark) Linzmeyer, Rodney Needham, Morreen (Robert) Brunetti, Wanda-Lee (Douglas) Pendlebury, Tyler (adopted), one sister Mabel, one half sister Eileen, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoadley Hall with Pastor Ron Dowbush. Interment will be at Hoadley Cemetary. Donations can be sent to the charity of the donors choice.
