Mr. James W. Schmidt passed away in the Long Term Carew Unit of the Rimbey Hospital on Sunday October 28, 2018 at the age of 76 years.
Jim was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta to Edward and Marjory Schmidt on June 21, 1942.
Jim is survived by his three sons, Derrick (Maris) of Montreal, Dale (Karen) of Grande Prairie, and Warren (Trina) of Beaumont, three grandchildren all of Grande Prairie.
Jim also leaves to mourn his sister Doreen Glanfield of Rimbey, and a brother Gregory (Shirley) of Ontario.
Jim was predeceased by his brother Robert, sister Doris and his ex-wife Sandra of Grimshaw and his parents. At Jim's request no services will be held. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.wilsonsfuneralchapel.ca
