Mrs. Jean Riddiough of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Jean will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Ken; her daughter, Lorna (Alvin) Johnson of Rimbey; her daughter-in-law, Gwen Boyce of Rimbey; and her two stepsons, Keith (Barb) Riddiough of Carstairs; and Kevin (Claire) Riddiough of Rimbey. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by eleven grandchildren, Steven (Terry) Boyce, Shannon Boyce-Campbell, Shauna Boyce, Suerea Haymour; Stacey Johnson (Don Morehouse), Lana (Mike) Mabbett, Shane Riddiough, Kurt Riddiough, Marcy (Landon) Nikirk, Chantelle Betts, and Brad Riddiough; as well as fifteen great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her first husband, Lloyd Boyce in 1969; her son, Pat Boyce in 1996; and two sisters, Joan Osokin and Kay Fulton. A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Jean's Life will be held at the Rimbey United Church, Rimbey on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Deborah Laing officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
