In loving memory ~
On August 16, 2023, Judith "Judy" Burke passed away peacefully with her family at her side.
She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Richard and Edna Ward, and lived her life in Wabamun, Alberta.
Judy married Lawrence (Larry) Burke on September 5, 1964, and they resided in Rimbey, where they raised their children John and Cindy.
Judy did many things such as hairdressing, the "doorbell calling" Avon lady, leader of both Brownies and Girl Guides, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Rimbey. She loved to bowl, but her real passion was Farmers Markets and her beautiful sewing was loved by all.
Her kindness and friendly demeanour will be missed by everyone.
"Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and forever dear"
As per Judy's request, no formal services will be held.
If friends and family desire, donations in memory of Judy may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute (11560 University Ave, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 1Z2).
Honoured to Serve the Burke Family
