LeRoux
Jules "JB" Bernardin LeRoux of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 84 years.
JB was born in St. Denis, Saskatchewan on January 21, 1929. Throughout his life, he loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and camping to name a few. JB also took great pleasure in gardening, and greatly enjoyed tending to his beautiful flowers. He possessed a talent for whistling and was a great singer. JB treasured his family and friends immensely, and loved to tease and bring smiles to many faces. He will be deeply missed.
JB will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Rose; his four sons, Bernie (Laurie) LeRoux of Stony Plain; George (Jo-Ann) Newbert of Calgary; Robert (Juanita) Newbert of Red Deer; and Ronald (Leticia) Newbert of Mazatlan, Mexico; and his two daughters, Wendy LeRoux of Edmonton; and Annette McBride of Spruce Grove. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his sister, Sally (John) Hoppe of Ottawa, Ontario; as well as many nieces and nephews. JB was predeceased by his parents; his son-in-law, Chris; two brothers, Stan and "X" Francois; and three sisters, Elise, Jean, and Terry.
Memorial Service details will be announced at a later date. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in JB's Memory may be made directly to the David Thompson Health Trust, c/o Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Long Term Care, Box 440, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0.
