Kenneth "Ken" L. H. Clark of Rimbey, Alberta, formerly of Portsmouth, England, passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Area Three, Rimbey on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Ken grew up in England and served with the Royal Navy in the Pacific during WWII. He enjoyed playing the piano and listening to classical music, as well as hiking in the hills all over the United Kingdom. After immigrating to Canada in 1984, Ken loved spending time with his grandchildren and in later years, his great grandchildren. Ken will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his son, Ian (Deb) Clark of Bentley; two cherished granddaughters, Zoe (Mike) Ross of Dawson Creek, B.C.; and Janna (Paul) Kernan of Nelson, B.C.; as well as four treasured great grandchildren, Maren, Aidan, Declan and Dain. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by two nephews, Keith (Anne) Brock of Barnsley, England; and Stuart (Maggie) Brock of Morpeth, England. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Eva and Harold; his beloved wife, Jean; and his sister, Phyllis Brock. With respect for Ken's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
