Leo Hohn of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital Acute Care Centre on Tuesday August 25, 2020 after a lengthy, hard fought battle at the age of 72 years.
Leo enjoyed partaking in a variety of activities throughout his life; he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, farming, and spending time at Open Creek Dam west of Rimbey.
Leo is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Katrina; his daughter Leanne (Mike) Edwards; and his son Jay (Tanya) Hohn.
Leo leaves behind eight grandchildren; Kendra Tatebe, Brooklynn Edwards (Brady Riplinger), Ryley Hohn (Raili McGhee), Kassidy Hohn (Kaelen Tuuttila), Triana Hohn, Jenna Butcher, Kaitlyn Butcher, and Alissa Butcher (Denis Danilov); as well as two great grandsons Tyler and Evan Tatebe.
Leo will be lovingly remembered by his sister Betty Dube; in addition to several nieces and nephews, and other family members.
Leo was predeceased by his parents Joe and Irene Hohn, and his sister Joyce Pierlot.
At Leo's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Rimbey Fish and Game Association PO Box 634 Rimbey, AB T0C 2J0 or by leaving a donation at the Open Creek Dam Campground West of Rimbey.
