Leonarda (Helen)
On October 20, 2010 Mrs. Helen Rooyakkers of Winfield passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, William; four daughters, Annie (Peter) Babcock of Gibbons, Rose Marie (Albert) LaFrance of Red Deer, Josephine (Peter) Staskiw of Edmonton, Linda (Martin) Maton of Winfield; two sons, Walter Rooyakkers of Edmonton and Martin (Kathy) Rooyakkers of Winfield; eleven grandchildren and one great grandson.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, Jon and Mary Broks; two brothers and three sisters.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Winfield Recreation Centre with Reverend Gabriel Udeh officiating. Interment of cremains followed at the Poplar Valley Cemetery.
