BLAND


It is with extreme sorrow and deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and soul mate of 54 years Lucille Tena Bland. Tena went peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Sunday February 24, 2013 after a year long battle with cancer at the age of 71 years with family and friends at her side.

Tena is survived by her loving husband Keith of Buck Lake, son's Tony (Marnie) Bland of Rimbey, Stacey (Tammy) Bland of Rimbey. Tragically, Tena's eldest son Robert passed away suddenly on Monday February 25, 2013 at the age of 53 years. Tena also leaves to mourn eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, her daughter-in-law Sandy Bland of Slave Lake, Alberta, three brothers; Dave (Maxine) Moller of Red Deer, Ed (Sally) Moller of Lacombe, Ray (Cindie) Moller of Condor, two sisters; Norma (Dave) Taylor of Chemanus, BC. and Betty Moller (Roger) of Cadilac, Sask.

Tena was predeceased by her parents; Lloyd and Loretta Seely, two brothers; Clayton and Don and by her step-father John Moller.

Please join with us in a Celebration of Life for Lucille Tena Bland and for Robert Lloyd Bland which will be held from the Rimbey Community Centre on Thursday March 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM
