We, the family of Margaret (Maggie) regret to share that she passed away on September 21, 2024 at the Rimbey Auxiliary Hospital.
Maggie was the sixth child of 11 of Ernie & Sarah Howkins. She was predeceased by her husband Morrie, her parents and siblings Alice, Frankie, Gene, Bob, Patricia, Wally and Bernice. She is survived by siblings Susan O'Brien, Ginny McLean & Bill Howkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews (both great & great-great) and many good friends in her community.
Maggie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and spent some of her young years in BC before returning to Alberta for the remainder of her life.
She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed her trips to BC to see her family.
Maggie was a gentle, caring, honest, hard working amazing lady. She had a heart of gold. Her incredible sense of humour was a gift her friends & family will always treasure.
No service at her request, cremation and placed with her husband Morrie Cross at Westhaven Cemetery.
