HAWKINGS
Our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother Margaret Rachel Hawkings (nee Davis) passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 93 on June 25, 2015.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her seven children: three daughters, Bernice Simpson of Rimbey, Joan and Gerry Stewart of Spruce Grove, Joyce and Warwick Hartley of New Zealand, four sons, Robert and Christine of BC, Irvin and Sandy of Bentley, Francis of Sylvan Lake, and Wesley of Bentley, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren (more or less), and one brother Wayne Davis. She was predeceased by her parents Alvah and Bernice Davis, her husband Ernest, a son in law Charles, a daughter in law Anna, and three sisters: Isabel, Marie, Vivian, and one brother Leroy.
In keeping with mom's wishes no funeral service will be held. A private family interment took place in the Alto Reste Cemetery in Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday June 30, 2015.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
