Martha Winslow (nee Raymond) of Winfield, Alberta was born on June 1, 1947 in Muskegon, Michigan, USA. She lived in various states until January 4, 1983 when she came to Canada, with her husband, Dan. Martha had two children, Daniella and Jerrry who were both born in Burlington Colorado, and another son, Dustin who was born in Red Deer, Alberta., Martha loved people and cooking for them, and she was an accomplished artist. She spent her entire life trying to help others, and provide for her family. The "Red Baron" Restaurant in Rimbey, where she was employed for a time, was where she made many friends. In 1991, she went to work at West Pine Seniors Lodge in Winfield, and was employed there until ill health forced her to quit. Martha passed away on January 16, 2012 at the Norwood Capital Care Center in Edmonton, at the age of 64 years. She was a very beautiful person, and everything she did, she did to the fullest. She touched the lives of so many, and will forever be missed. Martha was predeceased by her husband Dan in 2009. She will forever be remembered by her daughter; Daniella (Bill); her sons, Jerry (Janice) and Dustin all of Edmonton; and two granddaughters, Chynnara and Tanis, also of Edmonton, as well as her sister Maggie in U.S.A. With respect for Martha's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
