With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Marvin Irvin Thebeau of Rimbey, Alberta on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the age of 79 years.
Marvin will be remembered forever by his wife of 58 years, Jean Thebeau; his two sons Raymond (Sheila) Thebeau of Breton; Clifford Thebeau (Kari Mair) of Bluffton; and his daughter Kathy (Myran) Beelby of Bluffton; as well as eight treasured grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He will also be remembered forever by his sister Lorene Johnson of Rimbey; in addition to many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many cherished friends. Marvin was predeceased by his parents Elie and Edna; four brothers Leonard, Ronald, Elmer, and Donald; and two sisters Leona and Lorna.
Marvin's family would like to thank Rimbey FCSS, Rimbey EMS, Fire & Rescue, the doctors and staff at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Dr. Rylance, and STARS Air Ambulance.
A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Marvin's life will be held at the Hoadley Community Hall, Hoadley on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Marvin was laid to rest during a Private Family Interment Service at the Hoadley Cemetery on Friday, December 30, 2022.
