It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, and Great Great Grandma on September 28, 2014 at the age of 86 years.
Mary was born on June 24, 1928 in Edmonton, Alberta. She married Bernard DeWitt in 1950 and resided in Wetaskiwin Alberta, where they had three children, Robert, Donna and Clayton.
They transferred to Red Deer with North Western Utilities in 1966, and then moved to the Bluffton area in 1971. That farm became the hub of the DeWitt family making many, many memories.
Mary was predeceased by her grandson Kelly DeWitt in 1970, her husband Bernard DeWitt in 2001, her son Robert DeWitt in 2009 and her daughter-in-law Jennifer DeWitt in 2011.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Keay of Rimbey, her son Clayton (Sue) DeWitt of Rimbey, her grandchildren Tanya DeWitt of Rimbey, Stacey (Joe) Reck, Donivan (Ellen) McCoy, Shauna (Terry) Meinema all of Marwayne, Alberta. Her great grandchildren Brad (Natasha) Harris, of Lloydminster, Saskatchewn, Jessie (Tanner) Sayer, Jaici Thomson, Cameron Thomson, Skylar McCoy, all of Marwayne and Kayl McCoy of Leduc. And her two great great grandsons Clay Sayer and Kason Harris.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Church of the Nazarene in Rimbey. If friends desire donations can be made to the Parkland Manor Seniors Club.
