BAUER

Mrs. Mary May Bauer of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Sturgeon Community Hospital and Health Centre, St. Albert on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the age of 74 years.

Mary May will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 57 years, Herb; four sons, Arlon (Sharon) Bauer of Calgary; James (Norma) Bauer and their son, Logan all of Rimbey; Leroy Bauer of Spruce Grove; and Alvin Bauer of Calgary. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by three brothers, Lyle (Betty) Lawson of Taber; Mervyn (Joan) Lawson of Bluffton; and John Lawson of Clairmont, Alberta; and four sisters, Myrtle (Ernie) Repas of Red Deer; Ava Raadick of Grande Prairie; Velma (Stan) Carlyle of Eckville; and Nora (Gordon) Adrian also of Eckville; in addition to many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary May was predeceased by her son, Gordon; her grandson, Wyatt; and two brothers, Jim Lawson and Arthur Lawson.


A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Mary May's Life was held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rimbey on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Allen Lewis officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Mary May's Memory may be made directly to STARS Air Ambulance, Building 16, 29 Airport Road, Edmonton, Alberta T5G 0W6.
