HAYES
Meryl Hayes of Rimbey, Alberta, formerly of Winfield, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre - Area Three on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age of 90 years.
Meryl will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved children: one son, Wayne (Angela) Hayes of Winfield; and two daughters, Sharon (Garry) Hoy of Sylvan Lake; and Wendy Hayes of Red Deer; as well as eight cherished grandchildren and five great grand-children. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother, Lyle (Gladys) Robbs of Rimbey; and her sister, Gloria Knauft of Calgary; in addition to numerous other family members and close friends. Meryl was predeceased by her husband, Ernest in 1992; and two brothers, Lorne and Jimmy Robbs.
A Public Graveside Service in Celebration of Meryl's Life will be held today, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the West Haven Cemetery, Rimbey with the Reverend David Holmes officiating. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Meryl's Memory may be made directly to Long Term Care at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre - Administration, Box 440, Rimbey, Alberta T0C 2J0.
