Milley Anderson, of Rimbey, AB, passed away surrounded by her family at the Foothills Country Hospice, Okotoks on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the age of 73 years. Milley was born November 1,1935 in Calgary where she was raised and received her education. She married Harvey Anderson and they lived in Calgary for many years. Milley was very active within her community, volunteering for many charitable organizations, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1. Milley moved to Rimbey in September of 1998, where she made many new friends and continued to volunteer for community events. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mildred is survived by her loving daughter Linda Anderson (James Sheflin); son Danny Anderson; grandchildren, Joshua and Shantelle, Sheflin, Paisley and Dimetri Schembri; brothers, Bill and Robert (Darlene); sisters, Frances Wilson and Margaret Wilson as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey; brothers, Harold (Kay) and Lester Barton; sister-in-law Beverley and brother-in-law Cecil Wilson.
